Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

01 Overview

StyleSlots is a booking platform connecting clients with salons, barbershops, spas, and wellness businesses across Malaysia. This policy applies to all appointments booked through StyleSlots. Cancellation terms for specific services may vary by merchant, and a merchant’s terms apply where they are more favourable to you.

02 Client cancellations

Standard cancellation window

You may cancel or reschedule without penalty, subject to the following notice requirements:

When you cancel	What applies
24 hours or more before your appointment	Full refund or free reschedule
Between 12 and 24 hours before	A cancellation fee of up to 50% may apply, at the merchant’s discretion
Less than 12 hours before, or a no-show	A cancellation fee of up to 100% may be charged

How to cancel

1. Log in to your StyleSlots account at styleslots.com.my or in the app.
2. Go to My Bookings and select the appointment you want to cancel.
3. Tap Cancel Appointment and confirm.
4. A confirmation will be sent to your registered email and WhatsApp.

03 Merchant cancellations

If a business cancels your confirmed appointment, you are entitled to:

• A full refund of any prepaid amount to your original payment method, within 5–7 business days.
• Priority rebooking at no additional cost.
• A platform credit equal to the service value, if you prefer.

We will notify you immediately by WhatsApp and email if a merchant cancels your booking.

04 Rescheduling

You may reschedule at no cost if you give at least 24 hours’ notice. Rescheduling within 12 hours of your appointment is treated the same as a late cancellation. Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times.

05 No-show policy

A no-show occurs when you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled time and have not given prior notice. In that case:

• The full service fee may be charged to the payment method on file.
• Repeated no-shows (three or more) may lead to a temporary suspension of your booking privileges.
• Merchants may release your slot to walk-in clients after the 15-minute grace period.

06 Prepaid packages & memberships

Sessions included in prepaid packages or membership plans are subject to the same cancellation windows. Unused sessions may be rescheduled but are non-refundable, unless the merchant’s package terms say otherwise. Membership plans cancelled mid-cycle are prorated based on the sessions you have used.

07 Refund processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Actual timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. Platform credits are available immediately and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

08 Disputes & exceptions

For exceptional circumstances such as a medical emergency or natural disaster, cancellation fees may be waived at the merchant’s discretion. To raise a dispute, contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
